Penny Black is an emerging singer/songwriter from Glasgow. The Scottish press have predicted she will ‘do for pianos for KT Tunstall did for girls with guitars’. She writes what can only be described as pop/rock with a theatrical and sometimes satirical edge. One reviewer likened her live act to ‘Cyndi Lauper brawling with Alphabeat in a rock bar’.
