Ho Hum Records are delighted to re-introduce Beth Hirsch with two heartfelt songs “Something To Tell” and “So Many Things” the latter featuring a duet with Ho Hum’s acoustic act The Willow. Both songs are stripped down pieces of emotional folk and “Something to Tell” also features the stunning string arranging of Caroline Daniel who last worked with Beth on the 2001 album “Titles & Idols”.
“So Many Things”, is a love duet with Ho Hum artist The Willow with stripped back folk production with electronic flurries and piano which blend together in an emotionally engaging work. This is heartfelt music, lamenting love and engaging the listener on an emotional journey. On hearing Beth Hirsch against such a backdrop makes great sense and the productions here are absolutely spot on.
Both tracks were made in London, with Beth adding vocals in LA where she now resides having also counted Paris and London as homes.
