Penny Black is an emerging singer/songwriter from Glasgow.  Known already in her home city for powerful live performances, she is currently creating a fuss with music fans and the media alike.  The Daily Record have predicted she will “do for pianos for KT Tunstall did for girls with guitars” and TV legend Dominik Diamond has told the press that “anything involving Penny is special.”   She writes what can only be described as pop/rock with a theatrical and sometimes satirical edge.  One reviewer likened her live act to “Cyndi Lauper brawling with Alphabeat in a rock bar”.  Paul Lani (producer to Madonna and Robbie Williams),  contacted Penny personally to tell her that he thought she was “incredible – off the chain!”  which confirmed just how much she has to offer the record buying public.  Penny is currently writing new material as well as performing all over the UK.
