Reid & Stanners are an exciting new Scottish song-writing duo, based in Edinburgh, specialising in fun, radio-friendly pop music.

Simon Reid and Louise Stanners met whilst studying at the Ian Tomlin School of Music, part of Edinburgh’s Napier University, graduating with Honours in Popular Music at the ages of 22 and 21 respectively. They began working together in Louise’s final year, and found that they shared not only similar musical tastes, but also the same drive to become successful commercial songwriters.

Coming from similar backgrounds (both began composing at an early age, and have been actively involved in music ever since), the pair took the decision to combine their considerable talents, and in April 2007 Reid & Stanners was born.
