Respect Music is proud to represent the catalogue of Platinum Records in the UK for original master rights.

Platinum Records is a classic master recording catalogue that features recordings by such greats as Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong, Sly & The Family Stone, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Bing Crosby, Bessie Smith, Donovan, Tony Bennett and many others.   This highly under-exploited catalogue was tied-up in bankruptcy court for years until recently when a group of investors, attorneys and industry insiders purchased it and worked out settlements with the principals and the artists.  The owners have implemented an extensive master clean-up campaign and archiving initiative to bring the master recordings up to current standards and the recordings are offered on-line for preview or download by licensors.

The catalogue is available for licensing in film, television and advertising campaigns and is “exclusively” represented for placement by Respect Music  in conjunction with Ford Music Services throughout the world.
